放板村是黄花镇下辖的行政村，位于镇域东部，由原放板村和黄洞村合并而成[1]。村内有26条自然村，原放板村一带耕地广阔平坦，是粮食主产区；原黄洞一带以丘陵为主[1]。

地名由来[edit]

乌泥坑、大岩、庙角、放板岩四处原统称「腾公庙角」，后与巷口合并，改称放板，故名[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

1952年时此地设放板乡。1958年，当地成为放板大队，归明迳公社管理。1986年起改称村委会，隶属明迳乡；1998年10月正式以村委会名称定型，延续至今。2004年12月黄洞村委会并入[1]。

荣誉与发展[edit]

2019年9月，放板村的名字出现在广东省2018年「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单中[1]。2024年，村委大岩村引入的民宿项目「潜舍民宿」，成为全镇新引入的中高端民宿之一[2]。
