水头村是广东省清远市英德市英红镇下辖的行政村，位于英红镇北部，全村人口约3418人。村名来源于驻地位于官田水（又称大坝坑）上游，俗称水源源头。[2][8]

沿革[edit]

1951年设水头乡，1958年改为水头大队，1983年改为水头乡人民政府，1986年改为水头村委会，1990年称水头管理区；1998年10月7日起定为村委会，沿用至今。2004年12月，水联村委会并入本村。[1][3]

荣誉[edit]

2021年12月，广东省爱卫会授予水头村「2021年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]

基础设施[edit]

曾屋桥改造工程需要安装预制桥梁，工程车须拆除学校部分围墙才能驶入施工现场。经充分征求民意，村民支持了拆墙方案，此后汛期淹没和绕远路的老问题得到解决。[4]

2023年，英红镇投入资金，修复了水头许屋村牛盘石路基护坡和水头村委陈屋桥的水毁工程。[5]

规划与发展计划[edit]

《英德市英红镇水头村村庄规划（2021—2035年）》获英德市人民政府批准的日期为2024年12月25日。研究范围面积7192.35公顷；永久基本农田不少于322.10公顷，生态保护红线不少于5741.44公顷，村庄建设用地为73.41公顷。[6]

根据2026年的五年发展计划，水头村拟在全村打造一条生态碧道经济带，把鱼鳞坝的亲水空间、茶园观景带、禾寨的民宿区与水头小学的研学区连接起来，同时推进民生、生态与文旅的一体化建设。[7]
