黎明村在黎溪镇西部，东邻大埔村和恒昌村，南与飞来峡镇相邻，西、北面与大坪村相靠。县道X367线横贯村域，道路可直通清远。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的前身是「七甲」，建国初期统称「下黎」。博雅地名网称，「下黎」一名较俗，取「黎」字天刚亮的意思，改称「黎明」。[1]

村里早年设黎明小乡，之后陆续经历大队、乡政府和管理区的建制，1986年设黎明村委会，1998年10月7日再度定为黎明村委会，沿用至今。[1]

村里主产黑皮冬瓜和砂糖橘，木材和竹材资源丰富。[1]

文化[edit]

2019年9月，黎明村进入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。2021年12月，村里获「2021年广东省卫生村」荣誉称号；2023年5月，大路边组获「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
