太平坪村是广东省清远市英德市波罗镇下辖的行政村，位于镇的西北部，距镇政府约5.5公里，村委会驻下头村小组。[1][2]

村名因地势而来：村子在平坡地上，当地俗称平地为“坪”。[3]

沿革[edit]

1983年设太平坪乡政府，1986年改为村委会，1990年一度称管理区，1998年10月重新设为村委会。2004年12月，清塘村委会并入，形成现在的辖区。[4][2]

百度百科称，村域辖16个自然村。[2]

2019年，本村被纳入高标准农田建设，规模为16712.55亩左右。[2]

镇政府的年度总结称，太平坪村被选为第四批拟培育的典型村，2026年初步谋划了350万元的项目，涵盖产业发展和基础设施提升。[5]

村里把背夫头、莲花楼两个中心村作为人居环境提升的重点。背夫头一处闲置地块改建成四小园和休闲公园，篮球场翻新，莲花楼一带新建标准化停车场。[6]

规划中，太平坪村要扩大种桑养蚕，并发展桑芽菜和蚕丝被的深加工。[7]
