萤火村是石牯塘镇下辖的行政村，位于镇的东北面，距镇政府约8公里。[1] 村北原有两口天然山塘，仲夏时萤火虫聚集在塘边，起初叫萤火塘，后来简称萤火。[1]

沿革[edit]

萤火村委会于1998年10月7日改设。改设之前，此地于1951年成立萤火乡政府，1958年归并为萤火生产大队，1983年重新设立乡政府，1986年变成村委会，1990年称为萤火管理区。[1]

人口与村域[edit]
