八宝村是石牯塘镇下辖的行政村，位于镇的西北面，距镇政府约7公里。[1] 村子坐落在八宝山的西南面，村名由此而来。[1]

沿革[edit]

八宝村委会于1998年10月7日正式改设。此前，1951年村里成立了乡政府，1958年编为八宝生产大队；1983年恢复乡政府之后，1986年改称村委会，1990年又变成管理区。[1]

人口与村域[edit]

博雅地名网所载人口2232人，耕地面积2728亩，下辖16条自然村，数字未注年份。[1] 村里的农业结构调整后，蚕桑与竹笋等经济作物种植较多。[1]

荣誉[edit]

围仔村是八宝村下的自然村，2023年5月获广东省爱卫会授予「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
