石牯塘社区是石牯塘镇下辖的社区居民委员会，设在镇区，距镇政府约1公里。[1] 社区名称来自辖区内地表河卵石较多（当地俗称“石牯”），加上大小鱼塘星罗棋布，故称石牯塘。[1]
