子塘村是广东省清远市英德市石灰铺镇下辖的行政村，位于镇正北面，距镇政府约8公里，辖18个自然村。[1]

村名取自两端的村庄：最南面为坳子村，最北面为前塘村，各取一字得名子塘。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

子塘村前身是1958年成立的子塘大队。1983年改由子塘乡政府管辖，1986年起称村委会；1990年改为管理区，1998年10月7日才恢复村委会建制，延续至今。[1]

产业与荣誉[edit]

村内耕地平坦，以冬瓜、稻谷为主要作物，并有种桑养蚕。[1]

2019年9月，子塘村入选「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单；2021年9月，子塘村入选「第二批广东省一村一品一镇一业专业村」名单，主导产业为红茶。[1]
