英建村是英德市大湾镇下辖的行政村，位于镇西北部，离镇政府约4.5千米。村委会设在衣滩自然村，全村辖41个自然村。[1]

村名的寓意是英明地建设社会主义。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

英建村的沿革：1998年10月7日改设英建村委会，前洞村委会于2004年12月13日并入本村。此前为1990年的英建管理区、1986年的村委会、1983年的英建乡政府，更早则是1958年的英建大队。[1]

以红茶入选第二批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村的，是2021年9月公布名单中的英建村。[1] 2022年8月，英建村被确定为「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位。[1]

经济[edit]

村里耕地宽阔，也有较多山林，水果和竹笋的种植效果较好。博雅地名网记人口6239人、耕地4123亩，未注年份。[1]

2024年5月，镇政府网站报道，村党支部与镇机关、中心小学党委开展党建共建活动，驻村第一书记与村支书带动115名党员参与产业和乡村治理。前洞片区的大记村小组种植了100多亩林大记沙梨，另有50亩鸡心黄皮。村里盘活英建糖厂旧址用地，计划投入110万元建手工业加工厂。[2]
