白米庄村是广东省清远市英德市浛洸镇下辖的行政村，位于镇的东面，距镇政府约3公里，辖27条自然村。村内种植甘蔗和蚕桑，是广东省“百千万工程”的典型村之一。[1][4]

地名由来[edit]

据当地传说，旧时每年六月就有新谷上市，当地的油尖米颇负盛名，田地好、稻谷丰，像一座天然的粮仓。一次浛洸与鲤鱼乡的读书人对诗，当地一位杨姓教书先生以“桂花与白米”对句得胜，村名由此而来。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

起初（1952年）此地是东领小乡，1957年归鱼咀耕作区，1958年成为东领大队，1983年为东领乡政府所在。1986年白米庄独立为村委会，1990年设管理区，1998年10月7日再次改为村委会。2001年9月10日，东领村委会合并进了本村。[2]

产业与典型村[edit]

农业结构调整后，村委会大量种植甘蔗和蚕桑，耕地广阔平坦，水源充足。[1]

博雅地名网记为2026年1月，白米庄村获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1] 英德市人民政府2024年的工作总结则称，白米庄村与张陂村被列入第二批典型村名单后，两村共谋划实施18个项目，围绕产业发展、人居环境整治和绿化亮化提升展开。[4]

荣誉[edit]

2021年12月，白米庄村获「2021年广东省卫生村」荣誉称号；2023年5月，村内的井唇村获「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
