镇南村是广东省清远市英德市浛洸镇下辖的行政村，位于镇的南面，距镇政府约3公里，辖55条自然村。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村子原称市南。土地改革时设立浛洸镇，村名便改为镇南，沿用至今。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

镇南于1952年成为小乡，1957年为耕作区，1958年成立大队，1983年设乡政府。1986年，罗迳、联合两个村委会从本地分出；1990年改为管理区；1998年10月7日改为村委会。2001年，这两个村委会又并回镇南。[2]

产业与荣誉[edit]

村内主要生产沙塘桔、脐橙、糖蔗、冬瓜等，耕地广阔。[1]

2021年12月，镇南村获「2021年广东省卫生村」荣誉称号；2023年5月，村内的锅笃湖村获「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
