波罗坑村是大站镇南面的行政村，距镇政府约12公里，村委会设在银英公路边，是大站镇的南大门。村名的来历是：山坑中有一块大石形似菠萝，而“波罗”与“菠萝”谐音。村内辖22条自然村。[1][2]

沿革[edit]

1950年设立乡政府；1958年以后改称大队，1983年又恢复为乡政府，1998年定名为波罗坑村委会。[1][2]

人口与产业[edit]

百度百科载，2021年村内常住人口3441人。博雅地名网载耕地794亩（未注年份）。[2][1]

村内种植以蔬菜和水果为主，水产养殖规模较大。鱼塘面积，博雅地名网记为2200多亩，百度百科则记为1000多亩（2021年）。两家数字不同，本条目分别列出。[1][2]

荣誉与近年事务[edit]

2021年12月，村获广东省爱卫会授予「2021年广东省卫生村」荣誉称号。[1]

2023年，波罗坑防洪堤丹州糖寮段的溃堤已修复；同年，该村与其他村一道受益于农田小水利工程，灌溉用水问题得到解决。[3]

2024年，村里完成了饮用水管网工程和路灯安装项目。[2]
