丹洲村是大站镇西南面的行政村，距镇政府约8公里，村委会设在村内的新村。村内地势平坦，耕地上种有大量蔬菜等经济作物。博雅地名网解释村名时说，村名因村委会设在丹洲村而定。全村辖21条自然村。[1]

2023年，镇里完成丹洲水毁农田修复150亩，并借农田小水利一期建设，解决了波罗坑、大蓝、丹洲、景头等村共计1.28万亩农田的灌溉用水问题。[3]
