石园村是广东省清远市英德市白沙镇下辖的行政村，位于镇的西北部，距镇政府约9公里，辖13个自然村[1]。村名的来历是村委会驻地所在的石园地片[4]。

历史沿革[edit]

百度百科提到，清康熙年间已有“石园图”之设[3]。此后，村子在1957年经高级社，1958年为生产大队，1983年成立乡政府，1986年成为村委会，1990年变为管理区，1998年10月7日又定为村委会[1][2]。

经济[edit]

百度百科载，村内成立了兰一、新围等多个经济合作社，并有城建农场等经营实体[3]。耕地广阔平坦，农业结构调整后，村民也种植经济作物和沙田柚等水果[1]。
