建新村是广东省清远市英德市青塘镇下辖的行政村，位于镇南面，距镇政府约10公里，辖26条自然村。[1]

村子原名黄牛头，建国后改称建新，寓意人民翻身当家做主后建设新家园。[1]

地名与历史沿革[edit]

1955年，此地原来的二村改为「英建社」，三村为「五爱社」。1958年两社合并，成立建新大队。[1]

1983年设建新乡政府，1986年改为村委会，1990年为管理区。1998年10月7日改设村委会，2004年12月6日狮前村委会并入。[1]

经济[edit]

建新村率先在全镇推行收益分成的租赁调整办法。村干部借助「英州夜谈」上门沟通，把一户村民的林地租金由每亩0.25元调至15元，之后全镇累计完成164份问题合同的整改，村集体年增收16万余元。[2]

村委办公楼与建新小学的楼顶共约550平方米建成光伏项目，村集体年增收约4万元。2025年，建新村村集体收入突破50万元。[2]
