青塘镇是广东省清远市英德市下辖的镇，位于英德市东南部，以新丰县为东界，南接白沙镇，西邻桥头镇，北与翁源县相接。镇政府驻英德市德镇路3号。[1]

全镇辖1个社区（青塘社区）和7个行政村，即青北、新青、石联、榄村、青南、榔社、建新。[5]辖区面积，百度百科载121.51平方千米，博雅地名网载约128平方千米。[1][2]

镇内有青塘遗址，2019年列入第八批全国重点文物保护单位；榄村的岩山寨遗址是第八批英德市文物保护单位。[7][8][9]

历史沿革[edit]

青塘一地于明洪武二年（1369年）设立建制。[1][4]清道光十六年（1836年）时，这里分出了青塘、黄牛、乌石三个乡；民国二十一年（1932年）重新设立青塘乡。[4]

新中国成立后，青塘乡归英东区管辖。1958年7月划归翁源县，次年4月成立青塘人民公社；1962年9月复归英德县。[4]之后，1983年7月公社改为青塘区，1987年4月区改为镇。[1][4]

地名来源于圩镇旁的邓屋水塘，水色深蓝，故名青塘。[2]

地理环境[edit]

青塘镇属丘陵盆地，处于新丰、翁源两县交界处。青塘河发源于新丰县回龙镇，流经镇区后向西注入翁江。[3]镇区位于106国道与省道交汇处，是三县交界一带的物资集散地。[3]

人口民族[edit]

截至2019年末，户籍人口为37781人。[1]2021年6月公布的第七次全国人口普查结果显示，全镇人口约2.88万人，在英德市各街道乡镇中排第12位。[2]

经济[edit]

2019年的统计数字显示，规模以上工业企业产值为16.1亿元，第一产业及相关服务业产值为2.43亿元。固定资产投资额为915万元，税收则为180万元。当年农民人均可支配收入为1.29万元。[1]

2024年，八个村（社区）的经济联合社一同组建英德市青和农业有限公司，以公司带动经联社的方式经营。同年，全镇麻竹笋种植面积增至4035亩，其中当年新增约3000亩。[6]

名胜古迹[edit]

青塘遗址位于镇内一组，是石灰岩孤峰上的洞穴遗址，共四处洞穴，分别为朱屋岩、仙佛岩、吊珠岩，以及狮头岩与黄岩门。遗存时代可上溯至旧石器时代晚期，下限到新石器时代早期。[7][8]其中朱屋岩的螺壳经碳十四测定，距今约1.7万年。[7]2025年10月，黄门岩洞穴遗址的危岩加固及保护展示工程开工。[7]该遗址由国务院在2019年10月公布为第八批全国重点文物保护单位。[7]

岩山寨遗址位于榄村，年代为新石器时代晚期至商周，2021年2月由英德市人民政府公布为第八批英德市文物保护单位。[9]
