亚婆石村是广东省清远市英德市桥头镇下辖的行政村，位于镇东北部，距镇政府约11千米，辖6个村民小组。[2]

村庄属革命老区，1928年中共英德县委机关曾设在村内的亚婆石小学。[2]

地名由来[edit]

据传，一位孕妇在河边洗衣，见两块石头一大一小顺流而下，像是一对夫妻，便说石头会走，话音刚落石头即停住。大的称亚婆石，小的称亚公石，村名由此而来；两石在1965年东风水利建设时被炸毁。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

亚婆石乡政府设于1983年，1986年改称村委会；亚婆石管理区设于1990年，1998年10月7日起由村委会管理。[1]

1957年，村庄被评定为「广东省革命老区红色根据地村」。[2]

经济[edit]

村庄地处丘陵，耕地800亩，一条河（百度百科称滃江河）从村前流过。村民发展大棚蔬菜种植和肉鸽养殖，村内建有红色文化广场。[2]
