新益村是广东省清远市英德市桥头镇下辖的行政村，位于镇东面，距镇政府约7千米，辖19条自然村。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村由三个片村合并而成，初名「三联保」，后改称新益。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1954年村内分成金星、保卫两个大队。1959年时曾归翁源县的翁江公社管辖，次年回到英德县，仍叫新益大队。1972年析出红旗、岩山、金星三个大队，1976年重新并为新益大队。[1]

1983年设新益乡政府，1986年为村委员会，1990年称管理区，1998年10月7日改设村委会。[1]

经济[edit]

耕地3720多亩，土壤肥沃但水源缺乏。农业结构调整后，村内大量种植经济作物，沙糖桔等名优水果效果良好。[1]
