地名由来[edit]

村内有一条大坑，坑深水急，岩石间多深潭，故称潭坑。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年为潭坑大队，1983年设潭坑乡政府，1986年为村委会，1990年称管理区，1998年10月7日改设村委会。2004年12月2日，红联村委会被撤销，辖区并入潭坑村委会。[1]

经济[edit]

耕地2600亩，是粮食主产区，村委也大量种植经济作物。[1]
