板甫村位于桥头镇北面，为镇内的一个行政村，距镇政府约4至5千米，村委会驻在树山村民小组。两家百科所载距离略有出入，此处并列。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

相传元末明初此地有五间木铺，专做木船和家具，因「铺」「甫」同音而得名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

建国后此地设乡，1958年称板甫大队，1983年设板甫乡政府，1986年为村委会，1990年称管理区，1998年10月7日改设村委会。[1]

村下辖自然村的数目，博雅地名网作23条，百度百科作20个，两者不同，本文不取舍。[1][2]

经济[edit]

耕地面积6000多亩，村民以种植水稻、蔬菜和黑皮果蔗为主。村内已基本铺成水泥路面，并安装了自来水。[1]
