群英村是广东省清远市英德市沙口镇下辖的行政村，位于镇域最北端，与韶关市曲江区乌石镇接壤，属边远山区。村名来自合作化时期：工作队进驻后，群众办社热情很高，于是取“群”“英”二字作为社名，村名由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

解放后，这里设立过“群英社”。1978年由蕉园大队析出，另成群英大队。1998年10月7日，群英管理区改为村委会。[1]

全村的耕地约两千余亩，精确数为2011.13亩，共分17个村小组。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，群英村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]

广东省爱卫会于2023年5月，把「2022年广东省卫生村」称号授予群英村下辖的坪下村。[1]
