香坪村是广东省清远市连南瑶族自治县香坪镇下辖的行政村，位于镇政府所在地，村委会距镇政府约0.3公里，距县城约34公里。全村下辖13个村民小组，耕地以水田为主。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村级建制经历过多次变动：1950年设香坪行政村，之后在乡、村、大队之间反复调整，1983年设为乡，1987年5月定名为「香坪村民委员会」，1989年10月一度称管理区，1999年4月又恢复为村民委员会。[1]

公社机关于1979年10月从香坪老寨搬到石古洞自然村，石古洞自然村今属本村，镇政府如今就设在那里。[3]

近年，本村获评2026年1月的广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村，并于2024年3月被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」。[1]

地名由来[edit]

据博雅地名网，村址一带的香花间与大坪脚是两个寨子，两寨地名各取一字合称「香坪」。香花间一带有大片香花树，花季时满村飘香。[1]

人口民族[edit]

博雅地名网载全村616户2259人（年份未注），从业人员1487人，其中农林牧渔业人员1247人。村内耕地665亩，水田460亩，旱地205亩。[1]

经济[edit]

村集体经济基础薄弱，农民收入不高，产业以种养业为主，主要种植林木、养殖麻鸭，并带动其他产业发展。[1]

2025年，村内建成600平方米生态小公园，并完成苗木1705株的种植。2026年的计划里，老寨要发展656株鹰嘴桃的规模化种植，亚桂岭路段则配置327株三角梅。[2]
