香坪镇属广东省清远市连南瑶族自治县管辖，处在县境西部，离县城约34公里。全镇辖6个行政村，是以瑶族聚居为主的山区镇，山林约占全镇面积的九成。镇政府驻地在香坪村的石古洞自然村。[1][2][3][4]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年设立香坪公社。公社机关于1979年10月离开香坪老寨，迁入石古洞自然村。香坪镇的组建在2003年7月，由原来的盘石乡与香坪乡合并而成。2024年3月，全镇被命名为「2023年广东省卫生乡镇」。[1]

地名由来[edit]

镇政府驻地位于香花间与大坪脚两个寨子之间，两寨各取一字，合称「香坪」。[1]

地理环境[edit]

香坪镇在连南县西部。东面与涡水镇、大麦山镇毗邻，北面接大坪镇，南面与连山县的福堂镇、小三江镇相邻，西面紧靠连山县的吉田镇。[3]

全镇面积有两种数据：博雅地名网记作170.5平方千米，百度百科记作184.97平方千米，本条目两说并存。[2][3]

山林约占全镇总面积的九成，境内水力资源较丰富，地下有金、银、钨、铅、锌等矿藏和花岗岩。山间有野猪、野兔、猴子等动物，河中有娃娃鱼。[2]

自2023年起，全镇已有784栋住房完成外墙升级；「三线」治理共13.36千米，空中线缆已规整入地。[7]

2026年的绿化计划定下苗木10800株的数目，如今全镇的年度植树任务已全部完成，各村都设了花木景观带。[9]

人口民族[edit]

按第七次全国人口普查的统计，全镇人口约8200人，在连南县各镇里排第五。百度百科则记2019年末户籍人口为1.2万人，两组数字口径不同，本条目均列出。[1][3]

全镇以瑶族聚居。县政府发布的行政区划资料将排肚村列为纯瑶区。[5]

经济[edit]

山地林木是镇里的基础产业，山林间生产杉木、松木、毛竹和油茶，也养殖麻鸭。此外还出产木耳、冬菇、茶叶、山苍子和油粽等土特产。[2]

近年，七星村以「水稻+西瓜+草莓」轮作，种植七星草莓，2025年该村农产品销售收入达445.6万元。[10]

文化[edit]

2025年，全镇文体活动共办了79场，参与群众超过一万人次。2026年，各行政村均自行办起了村晚，村与村之间还有篮球比赛。[6]

镇里设有镇级非遗传承所，设在文化站的闲置空间内，并与市级瑶族刺绣传承人合作开展传习。[8]

全镇有县级非遗传承人一名、市级非遗传承人一名，县级非遗项目已报上1项，另有龙水寨瑶歌、瑶绣、少女发髻制作技艺等项目正在申报中。通过「小手拉大手」等方式，已培训出300余名绣娘。龙水村建有瑶绣工坊。[6]
