大古坳村隶属广东省清远市连南瑶族自治县大坪镇，位于镇域西南部，下辖七个自然村。[2][1]

村落地处高寒山区，村里的梯田位于「瑶排梯田国家湿地公园」之内，其中老排梯田曾获评省级「十佳最美农田」。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年为生产大队，1983年改为乡制，1987年5月撤区建乡后设立大古坳村民委员会，此后1989年10月改为大古坳管理区，1999年4月再称村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]

经济[edit]

村民以种养业和劳务输出为主。特色产业有有机稻、高山茶和稻田鱼养殖，村中设有合作社和农业公司，以产业化方式经营。[2]

村里通过「云上田园」项目试点，把撂荒的梯田重新开垦并数字化管理，带动村民增收。全村人均年纯收入在2021年超过1.2万元，收入来源包括务工、土地流转和农产品销售。[2]

文化[edit]

村中有村级完全小学和教学点。村里曾举办稻田鱼节庆活动，并借助瑶族文化资源推动农旅融合。[2]

2024年3月，村庄被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」。[1]
