涡水村是涡水镇下辖的行政村，村委会在镇中部，也是镇政府的驻地。据博雅地名网，村内有盘王庙，全村下辖9个小组，人口约1500人。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村的前身在1958年称生产大队，到八十年代初改作乡。进入1987年，这里设为涡水村民委员会，其后一度改为管理区，又回到村民委员会的建制。2005年，黄家冲村民委员会被并入本村，依据的是南府办复〔2005〕35号文。[1][2]

荣誉[edit]

2024年1月，涡水村被确定为「2023年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」。2023年5月，广东省爱卫会授予黄洞村、装鹅洞村、庙东村「2022年广东省卫生村」称号，三者均属本村。[1]
