历史沿革[edit]
元末明初此地属阳山，人口直属连州管辖；民国时期划入连县九陂的上水乡。1952年8月归阳山县，1953年改属连南，设阳爱乡，归第四区。[1]
1961年设阳爱生产大队，归寨岗公社；1983年改为阳爱乡；1986年称阳爱村，划入寨岗镇；1988年改设管理区，1999年另设阳爱村村委会。[1]
据百度百科，村民先祖于明洪武二十四年（1391年）随军从南海迁入，被看作早期的广府人。[2]
地理环境[edit]
村子坐落在石灰岩地质之上，溶洞不少，观音岩、甫心大岩、水头岩与神仙洞都在村域之内。[2]
