后洞村是大麦山镇下辖的行政村，与中心岗、塘梨坑、塘凼、白芒、望佳岭、上洞、新寨、黄莲等村相邻。2019年9月，该村入选2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

白芒行政村当时在连南县三区之内，1950年后洞即归其管。1952年它被划入白芒乡，1958年归白芒生产大队。1962年2月，六暗与后洞两处并成后洞生产大队。1983年变为乡，1987年5月改为后洞村民委员会。1989年10月设后洞管理区，1994年4月又恢复村民委员会的名称。[2]
