大麦山镇是广东省清远市连南瑶族自治县下辖的乡镇级行政单位，位于县境西南部，东边接寨岗镇，南边与怀集县、连山壮族瑶族自治县相邻，西北与涡水镇交界。全镇辖9个行政村，居民以排瑶为主，也有少数过山瑶。1987年1月，九寨、白芒两地合并设镇。[1][2][3]

镇域面积，百度百科记为143.48平方千米，博雅地名网则记为208平方公里，两者未注明同一年份。人口方面，百度百科载2019年末户籍人口20285人，博雅地名网载第七次全国人口普查（2021年6月公布）结果为1.41万人。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

清康熙年间，今镇域所在地被分成白芒和九寨两小排：白芒一侧划给阳山县，九寨一侧划给连山县。此后直到民国初年，这里一直隶属连山绥瑶直隶厅；1946年以后改属连南县。1953年它曾归连南瑶族自治区管辖，1958年又被编入寨岗人民公社的范围。[1][3][5]

1961年连南恢复县制，这一片重新归连南管，并组建九寨与白芒两个人民公社。1983年两社改设为区；到1987年1月，二者合为一个镇，即大麦山镇。[1][3][5]

地名来历在博雅地名网上有说明：境内瑶民大多在山丘间种麦，当地甚至把八月播种的玉米也称作大麦，地名便由此而来。[3]

地理环境[edit]

水能方面，博雅地名网称尚未开发的部分估计可发电3000千瓦上下，目前已建水电站14座，装机合计五千余千瓦。矿藏有铜、铅锌、金、石英等。耕地合计约一万七千亩，水田占六千余亩，其余为旱地。该网站的这些数字都未注明年份。[4]

百度百科载2019年末户籍人口20285人；博雅地名网的概况页另载15687人，同样未注年份，两者相差较大，本文以带年份的数字为准。镇内居民绝大部分是排瑶，也有少部分是过山瑶。[1][4]

百度百科载，2019年全镇农作物播种面积44361多亩，其中蔬菜约18129亩，谷物12444亩，其他经济作物10689亩。[1]

镇政府2021年的工作总结称，镇里大力发展黄莲村的「一村一品」项目，黄莲茶是镇里的支柱产业之一，连片茶园约800亩，另有野生茶园2000多亩。[6]

土特产方面，博雅地名网提到茶叶、油桐、油茶、竹笋、冬菇等，黄莲茶是其中较有名气的一种。[4]

博雅地名网列出本镇的民俗文化包括瑶族耍歌堂、瑶族婚俗、连南瑶族长鼓舞和连南排瑶开耕节。[3]

镇政府2021年的工作总结提到，镇里以新寨村的九寨梯田为中心打造自然景观，线路贯穿白芒村的千年古榕、上洞的拱门石桥和起微山森林公园，并就「九寨梯田-白芒古榕树-黄莲村」乡村旅游线做前期调研。[6]

同一份总结还说，中心岗与塘凼两个村委所在的地方属革命老区，镇里正在整建，希望借此挖掘红色史迹，发展红色旅游。[6]
