连山林场是广东省清远市连山壮族瑶族自治县的一个林场，正式名称为广东省连山林场，是省属的正处级公益一类事业单位。[1][2]

林场成立于1954年，主要从事森林资源保护培育、林业有害生物防治和生态公益林管护，并负责管理广东鹰扬关森林公园。[1]

1954年建场。2016年12月，广东省机构编制委员会核定它的性质：正处级公益一类事业单位，归连山县管辖，并兼用「广东鹰扬关森林公园管理处」的牌子。[1] 维基百科的太保镇条目把林场与禾洞农林场并列，归入「类似乡级单位」一类。[3]

林场获得广东省自然教育基地的认定，时间是2022年7月；次年，它又进入省级森林可持续经营试点单位之列。[1]

地理环境[edit]

林场位于粤西北山区，地处粤湘桂三省交界，属南岭山脉的余脉。[1] 据百度百科，其范围横跨连南瑶族自治县与连山壮族瑶族自治县两地。[1] 连山县政府门户网站的行政区划一页称其为省属单位，并说它位于县内。[2]

林场的经营总面积为7944.28公顷，森林覆盖率为91.97%，森林蓄积量为43.7万立方米。[1] 林场境内能见到穿山甲、白鹇，也有伯乐树与桫椤，几种都属于国家重点保护的动植物。[1]

林场的工作分几块：生态公益林的看护与经营，病虫害的防治，树木的培育与护林，外加鹰扬关森林公园的管理。看护的生态公益林占全部经营面积九成以上。[1]

文化[edit]

自然教育活动以「广东鹰扬关森林公园」为依托展开。公园的建设以自然资源与红色教育为重点，其鹰扬关片区又被列为广东省中共党史教育基地。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

鹰扬关位于永和镇上草村，在国道323线连山段旁，距连山县城23公里，是连山、广西贺州与湖南江华三地交界处的古关隘。[4][5] 这座关的出现可追溯到唐代；咸丰八年（1858年）改名之前，它叫崖鹰关。改名取自武科举庆功宴「鹰扬宴」。据百度百科，关名又与「一脚踏三省」的地形有关，关上保存有三省界碑。[5]

据百度百科所载，北宋时期岳飞曾在此驻守。太平天国的军队也在关前交战三昼夜，至今留有「太平天国古战场与三十六坟」遗址。1931年，一支红军部队路过此地，留下战壕与堡垒等军事遗迹。[5]

景区建设从1999年着手，城楼、城墙与铁索桥等古迹得以修复；到2012年扩建，又添了纪念馆与纪念广场。[5] 景区的等级为「国家3A级旅游景区」，另获「全国民族团结进步教育基地」称号，属广东省红色旅游景区。[4]
