上帅镇是连山县的一个镇，地处清远市连山县南面，全镇辖陈屋、香僚、连官、东南4个行政村。[1][2]2024年3月，上帅镇被命名为「2023年广东省卫生乡镇」。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

地名的来历可追溯到清顺治九年（1652年）设置的上帅汛，这一军事机构的名称后来逐步演变为地名。[4]1938年（民国二十七年）建上帅乡，此后于1961年成为公社，1983年改为区，1986年撤区后设为乡。[1][3]

地理环境[edit]

镇域面积约102平方千米。东面与小三江镇相接，北面毗邻福堂镇，西邻广西贺州的八步区，南与怀集县的下帅壮族瑶族乡、冷坑镇相连。[1]镇西南的大钹山脉自西向东延伸，其主峰横水顶的海拔为1377.5米，它把上帅、福堂两镇同贺州南乡镇隔开。[5]境内花岗岩资源丰富，属亚热带季风气候。[1][3]

人口民族[edit]

2019年末户籍人口5359人。[1]第七次全国人口普查结果显示，上帅镇的人口为3500人，在连山县各街道乡镇中居第7位。两个数字的口径与年份不同，此处并列。[3]

经济[edit]

农村人均纯收入12515元，比上年增长10.2%，2017年农业总产值则为6679万元，增长9.7%。[1]上帅镇在2021年9月列入第三批广东省级「一村一品、一镇一业」专业镇，其产业是砂糖桔。[3]博雅地名网列出的镇内农产品有稻谷、木材等。[3]

名胜古迹[edit]

镇内的县级文物保护单位有三处：第一批的金鸡山明代兵营遗址，第三批的陈屋清代安仁里，以及第四批的陈屋清代陈贤才故居。[6]
