高明村是广东省清远市连山壮族瑶族自治县小三江镇下辖的行政村，位于镇西面，距镇政府约13公里。村名的来历，是民国时期此地因海拔较高而称「高乡」，设立大队时为求顺耳改为今名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1952年，此地设高明乡；1958年改为高明大队。1983年政社分设，仍用高明乡之名；1986年为高明村委会，1989年为高明管理区，1999年又为村委会。[1][2]

地理环境[edit]

博雅地名网载，村内耕地约2520亩，农业结构调整后，村民多种植经济作物和红橙等水果。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2017年10月，高明村获广东省爱卫会授予「第一批广东省卫生村」称号。2021年12月，高明村获「2021年广东省卫生村」荣誉称号。2023年5月，马崀村、麦塘村获评「2022年广东省卫生村」。[1]
