巾子村是连山壮族瑶族自治县永和镇下辖的行政村，与镇内其余各村社区相邻。金子山原生态休闲度假景区在村境一带。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

村名与后山的形状有关：后背山形似“金”字，金与巾同音，故名巾子。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1965年归上草人民公社管辖，设巾子大队。1977年起划入连山林场，名为巾子农区。2020年10月改由地方政府管辖，设为村委会。[1]

经济[edit]

金子山原生态休闲度假景区位于村境一带，景区地处国营连山林场，属省级生态公益林保护区。主峰海拔1417米，在广东各山峰中位列第八。景区被列为4A级景区。[2]

文化[edit]

老寨村获「2022年广东省卫生村」称号，授予方为广东省爱卫会，时间为2023年5月。[1]
