杜菜村是秤架瑶族乡的行政村，位于乡政府驻地以南约5公里，东面为茅山岭，北面与大陂村相接。全村面积约10.45平方千米，约占全乡面积的百分之1.8。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1940年村内设保，此后经乡政府、生产大队、村委会、管理区等阶段，1999年3月改为村委会，沿用至今。[2]

产业[edit]

村民以种水稻为主，兼种玉米、花生、蕃薯和蚕桑。村内有小水电站1座，装机容量2000千瓦。淮山、沙糠桔、沙田柚和本地鸡是村中的主要土特产。[1]

据百度百科，村内砂糖桔种植面积约900亩，砂糖桔专业合作社整合土地约1200亩，采用大户带动小户的模式。2015年，集体经济收入约9.3万元，人均纯收入为16547元。[3]

教育与乡村建设[edit]

村内设小学1所。2019年起，村里着手创建生态宜居美丽乡村示范村，规划建设村标和文化室。[3]

荣誉[edit]

2026年1月，杜菜村获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
