秤架村是秤架瑶族乡下辖的行政村，位于乡境东北部，距乡政府约1公里，村委会辖9个村民小组。博雅地名网所载全村面积约43.16平方千米，人口3723人，其中少数民族351人。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村内1940年设保。1952年保改为乡政府，1958年10月改为生产大队，1983年11月复为乡政府，1987年1月改为村委会，1989年11月改为管理区，1999年3月重新定为村委会。[2]

2005年4月，县政府批复后，东岭村委会并入本村；茅山岭村委会撤销，其移民新村划入本村，原住移民新村的联崆、竹崆、东岭村民也一并归入。[2]

地名[edit]

村名与乡名相同，传说来自古代商人在圩埠榕树下设大秤交易。[1]

地理与产业[edit]

博雅地名网称该村属平原地区，平均海拔850米，耕地约2100亩，其中水田约1850亩。村民以种水稻为主，兼种玉米和番薯。[1]

村内已开发小水电站19座，装机容量1.6万千瓦，主要土特产有冬菇、山茶、灵芝和笋干。[1][3]

荣誉[edit]

2019年底，秤架村进入首批国家森林乡村的名单；2020年末，省级名单「第一批广东省少数民族特色村寨」收录了本村。[1]

扶贫[edit]

据《阳山年鉴·2020》，2019年秤架村为相对贫困村，当年退出率达到百分之百。[4]
