蕉湾村是阳山县阳城镇下辖的行政村，位于镇的东面，下辖16个村小组，村域属石灰岩山区，农户分散居住。[1][4]

历史沿革[edit]

该村1940年设保，之后随乡政府与生产大队的反复变动而调整建制。1987年为村民委员会，1989年一度改设管理区，1999年又恢复村民委员会建制。2005年4月，经县人民政府批准，鱼坑村民委员会撤销并入本村村民委员会。[2]

地名由来[edit]

据博雅地名网，因当时蕉湾村人口最多，由此得名。[3]

人口与经济[edit]

截至2014年底，本村总人口475户2493人，劳力1272人。耕地780亩，全部为旱地。集体经济收入3.9万元，农民人均年收入5000元。[1]

百度百科则记该村户籍人口2308人，下辖16个自然村，耕地1200多亩。该条目未注明年份，与博雅地名网的数字并不相同。[4]

荣誉[edit]

2024年3月，蕉湾村被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」。2019年9月，该村列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单。[1]
