城北村是阳山县阳城镇下辖的行政村，位于县城北面，下辖15个村小组。截至2014年底，本村总人口799户3403人。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

该村1940年设保，之后随乡政府与生产大队的反复变动而调整建制。1987年为村民委员会，1989年一度改设管理区，1999年又恢复村民委员会建制。2005年4月，经县人民政府批准，上半村村民委员会撤销并入本村。[2]

地名由来[edit]

村民委员会驻地在县城北面，由此得名。[3]

人口与经济[edit]

2014年，全村耕地面积981亩；水田680亩。劳力1626人，集体经济收入38.5万元，农民人均年收入7175元。[1]

荣誉与设施[edit]

2024年3月，城北村被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」。2019年9月，该村列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单。[1]

2019年，城北村党群服务中心列入阳城镇的升级改造工程。[4]
