暗浪陂村属阳城镇，地处镇政府所在地以东约2公里，下辖9个村小组。该村名经历过一次改名，与解放后的河道整治有关。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

该村1940年设保，之后随乡政府与生产大队的反复变动而调整建制。1987年为村委会，1989年一度改设管理区，1999年又恢复村委会建制，沿用至今。[1]

地名由来[edit]

解放前，境内连江河段暗礁多，行船危险，当地人称其为「恶浪陂」。解放后，政府下令根治河道，在航道炸礁排险，河道得以畅通，地名遂改为暗浪陂。[2]

人口与经济[edit]

博雅地名网载，2013年底本村总人口256户1319人，劳力535人。耕地1020亩；水田780亩，集体经济收入10.2万元。[1]

百度百科则记该村户籍266户，人口1308人，下辖山根、张屋、坑边、中心、深坑、松树、岗等7个自然村。[3]

荣誉[edit]

2024年3月，暗浪陂村被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」。[1]
