元江村是阳山县阳城镇下辖的行政村，位于镇的南面，下辖20个村小组。截至2014年底，本村总人口664户3317人。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

该村1940年设保，之后随乡政府与生产大队的反复变动而调整建制。1987年为村委会，1989年一度改设管理区，1999年又恢复村委会建制，沿用至今。[2]

地名由来[edit]

据博雅地名网，村委会驻地靠近元江一带，当年本村人口最多，名称由此而来。[3]

人口与经济[edit]

2014年，全村耕地面积4210亩；水田1300亩。劳力1710人，集体经济收入2.3万元，农民人均年收入5300元。[1]

枸杞叶在本村与黄竹村规模种植，面积约0.38平方千米。[4]

荣誉[edit]

2024年3月，元江村被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」。2019年9月，该村列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）创建单位」名单。[1]
