历史沿革[edit]

该村1940年设保，之后随乡政府与生产大队的反复变动而调整建制。1987年为村民委员会，1989年一度改设管理区，1999年又恢复村民委员会建制。2005年4月，经县人民政府批准，青山村民委员会撤销，并入本村。[2]

人口与经济[edit]

博雅地名网载，2014年全村耕地1349亩；水田682亩；劳力2571人，集体经济收入8.9万元，农民人均年收入7142元。[1]

百度百科则记该村总人口1549人、共309户，其中低保户77户。两处人口数字相差甚大，原因未明，本条目均列出。[3]

产业与设施[edit]

据百度百科，2023年，该村蓬坑村小组将闲置的泥砖瓦房改造为庭院餐厅，并辟出一间农耕文化博物馆，一年接待客流约十万人次，获评「广东省乡村旅游精品项目」。村中的基层综合性文化服务中心已通过市级验收。[3]

荣誉[edit]

2024年3月，雷公坑村被命名为「2023年广东省卫生村」。[1]
