城北东社区隶属阳城镇，地处县城东北一带，共8个居民小组。截至2014年底，社区登记为3868户、14688人。[1]

县城在2001年9月被分为四个社区，城北东是其中之一，居民委员会的设立以县政府的批复为据。[2]

地名由来[edit]

名称取自居委会驻地，驻地位于城北片东侧。[3]
