阳城镇位于广东省清远市阳山县中部，是阳山县人民政府和中共阳山县委的驻地，也是全县政治、经济和文化的中心。全镇辖21个行政村和5个社区居民委员会。[1][3][12]

镇域水路有连江流经，连江一线可直达清远和广州；陆路有省道S114线，清连高速公路与107国道也在镇域内通过。[1]

西汉时阳城一带即为阳山县治所在；民国时期称附城区、附城乡，1964年6月设立阳城镇。镇内有贤令山、北山古寺、鱼水旅游风景区和神峰关生态旅游度假区等景点。[4][7][9][10]

历史沿革[edit]

西汉时阳城一带为阳山县治。明清两代，连江河南岸属通儒乡分地，河北岸属常岁乡分地。[4]

1914年为附城区，到1928年5月，此处改叫附城乡，归第一区管辖。新中国成立后名称未变。1958年，阳山并入连阳各族自治县，本地改称阳山人民公社；1960年复县，改为附城人民公社。[4]

1964年6月，阳城镇得以设立。1983年11月实行撤社设区（镇），此地称阳城区；1984年3月附城区归并，统称阳山镇；1987年1月改回乡（镇）制，复称阳城镇。[4]

原水口镇在2004年5月13日这一天并入阳城镇。[1]

行政区划[edit]

2001年9月，县城划为四个社区，即城北东、城北西、城南东和城南西社区，依据的是县政府的批复。2002年2月，移民新村被命名为环城新村社区。[11]

全镇辖21个行政村和5个社区居民委员会。2005年4月，县政府批准撤销青山、岭头塘、双塘、麻地冲、上半、新风、鱼坑、行迳等村民委员会，它们分别并入邻近的村委会。[3][11]

自然地理[edit]

阳城镇位于阳山县中部，东侧与青莲镇相连，南侧临杜步镇，西侧接七拱镇，北面与小江镇、黎埠镇相接。[2]

辖区面积的数字有两个：阳山年鉴引用县自然资源局数据，为312平方千米（2019年）；百度百科记作299.74平方千米。[1][2]

矿产有铁、锌、钨、铅、煤、重晶石和水晶石等。[1]

年鉴所载2019年末户籍户数为29463户，户籍人口为121406人。百度百科记2019年末户籍人口为120865人，两者相差541人。[1][2]

在2019年，规模工业总产值为6.35亿元，较上年增长7.7%。当年固定资产投资9.22亿元，财政收入11929.54万元，农民人均纯收入18644元。[1]

农业上，镇政府借助省级现代农业产业园（越夏蔬菜方向）的创建，发展西洋菜。西洋菜种植面积约0.43平方千米，年产约2700吨，产值逾1300万元。枸杞叶在黄竹、元江两村规模种植，约0.38平方千米。湟池、车路、河坪三村的中草药种植面积逾80公顷，品种有牛大力、厚朴。[1]

工业企业中，荣璟鞋业、金淘精密制品两家公司较为突出，兴农产业园也设在镇内。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

贤令山在县城北郊约1公里处。唐代文学家韩愈任阳山县令时推行仁政，当地因此称其为「贤令」，山以此得名。山上保留了从唐到清的摩崖题刻，共36处。[7]

北山古寺位于贤令山麓。据百度百科，寺院为明嘉靖时期所建，年代约在1522年，原是佛、道、儒三教合一的建筑群。[8] 维基百科将其列为阳山县文物保护单位，1987年公布。[6]

鱼水旅游风景区位于县城南约10公里，紧邻清连高速公路。沿河分布喀斯特峰林与溶洞，景区首期设竹筏漂游、竹林烧烤场等项目。据百度百科，2026年1月获批为国家3A级旅游景区。[9]

畔水村一带的神峰关景区占地约8.8平方千米，以喀斯特地貌为主，有溶洞、石林和地下河漂流等项目。据百度百科，该景区2021年评定为国家3A级旅游景区。[10]

水口秦汉古驿道位于原水口镇一带。水口秦汉古道博物馆2019年投入80多万元完成二期改造，对外开放的展馆面积达900平方米。[1]

2019年，阳城镇举办第二届荷花旅游文化节暨「醉美乡村」摄影大赛。[1]
