历史沿革[edit]
该村所在地1940年设保，之后经乡政府、生产大队、管理区等建制，1999年3月起为村委会，沿用至今。[1]
地理环境[edit]
孟山村属石灰岩山区，土壤偏瘠、缺水明显，农业以油茶种植为主。[2]
经济[edit]
2010年的数据显示，全村378户1821人；耕地1953亩之中，水田占580亩。村集体的年收入在2010年只有4800元。[2]
2015年，村中组建了一家山羊养殖合作社；2020年又设立水塘经济合作社。《阳山县黎埠镇镇域乡村振兴规划（2022—2035年）》把该村列为特色保护类村庄，计划对生态与农房风貌加以整治。[2]
