历史沿革[edit]
该村所在地1940年设保，此后历经乡政府、生产大队、管理区等建制，1999年3月起改称燕岩村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]
经济[edit]
百度百科载，村里土地肥沃、水源充沛，地质条件好，出产的晶宝梨是主要农产品。该品种由当地果农于2006年前后改良培育，2016年开始通过电商平台售卖，果大、肉嫩、汁多是其特点。[2]
村里的集体收入靠电站分红支撑，村民外出务工是重要的增收方式。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，燕岩村列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单；2020年8月，首批专业村名单中有燕岩，以梨子上榜。[1]
