白莲村是广东省清远市阳山县太平镇下辖的行政村，位于镇南面，距镇政府约20千米。[1][2] 村名据传因古时村旁水面长有白莲而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

白莲村1940年设保，此后经历乡政府、生产大队、村委会等建制的变化，1989年改为管理区，1999年再改为村委会。[1]

2005年4月，坎头村委会被撤销，其辖区并入白莲村委会。[1]

人口与经济[edit]

博雅地名网载，村委会辖18个村民小组，全村537户、2447人，耕地约2261.8亩，该网站未注年份。[1]

村内矿产资源丰富，并大量种植沙糖桔等水果。[1]
