火岗村位于七拱镇东部，距圩镇约5千米，已铺设水泥硬底化公路，村委会现辖16个村民小组。村民以种植砂糖桔和外出务工为主要收入来源。[1]

地名[edit]

据博雅地名网，村委会驻于乌石岗村境内，有寓意生活红火之说，故名火岗。[1]

荣誉与产业[edit]

2020年8月，火岗村入选首批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单（七拱米）。2022年1月，火岗村被列为省乡村治理示范村创建单位（2021年度）。2026年1月，获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]

2021年，村内有730户农户，把1600多亩田地交给阳山金穗华晨公司，用于建设水稻标准化种植基地。[2]

2024年，村里组建了火岗富民西洋菜种植专业合作社，社长由村干部兼任，社员共31人，统一组织西洋菜种植。[3]
