杜步镇是广东省清远市阳山县下辖的镇，位于县境东南部，距县城约12千米，东面与英德市接壤。[1][3]

1914年始设杜步区，1997年起称杜步镇，2003年东山乡并入。2019年户籍人口34742人，下辖8个行政村。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

明、清时期，这一带属阳山县通儒乡。相传古时有一位姓杜的船夫在水口一带设渡，方便两岸乡民往来和交易，乡民陆续迁来定居，地名由此而来。[1][2]

1914年设杜步区，1928年改为杜步乡，隶属第三区。1952年由第三区划出另设杜步区，属阳山县第六区；1958年并入杜步人民公社，次年复又分设人民公社。此后的1983年11月起改用杜步区之名，1987年1月又成为杜步乡，直到1997年4月改为镇制。2003年6月，东山乡撤销并入本镇。[1][3]

地理环境[edit]

杜步镇处在广东省西北部、阳山县东南部，北面与阳城镇相邻，南面与清远市清新区石潭镇接壤。[1]

镇境属亚热带季风性气候，全年平均气温约20℃，年平均降雨量1830毫米，海拔高度在50至500米之间，地形以石灰岩山区和丘陵谷地为主。[1]

境内矿产有方解石、煤、钨、铋、钼、铅锌、重晶石、硫铁，以及东山墨玉等。[1]

人口民族[edit]

2019年，杜步镇区域总面积162平方千米，全镇有7402户。全镇户籍人口合计34742人，其中非农业人口694人，其余34048人为农业人口。[1]

经济[edit]

2019年，全镇生产总值78624.54万元，其中农业生产总值38329.74万元，工业生产总值40294.8万元；地方财政收入7222万元，固定资产投资2468万元，农民人均纯收入19407元。[1]

粮食作物以稻谷为主，玉米和番薯次之。经济作物中，毛竹、芋头、木薯、花生、柑橘、蚕桑、淮山都有种植，反季节蔬菜和腐竹也是镇里的产出。[1]

2019年，全镇在旱坑、湟川、石溪三村打造约0.33平方千米的淮山种植基地，并引进一家农业企业，对淮山和葛根进行深加工。[1]

2026年9月，杜步镇先后签约「阳山温氏杜步种猪养殖场新建猪舍及空滤升级改造项目」（总投资6000万元）和「杜步镇洪辉玩具五金制造基地项目」（总投资2000万元），两项合计8000万元。[6]

2026年1月，杜步村、石溪村和大路村获评「广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村」。[8][9][10]

2026年10月，镇“百千万工程”指挥部召开第七次工作会议，部署第四批典型村评定的迎检工作，并以旱坑村的培育为对照安排包村分工。[5]

2026年9月，全镇开展「六乱」专项整治。据县政府网站报道，累计集中整治行动30余次，拆除违规搭建60余处，清理乱堆乱放点位300余处。[7]

名胜古迹[edit]

杜步石围城位于杜步村辖区内何屋一带的山头上，靠近清连高速公路杜步大桥南端，以片状石料垒砌，城墙高约2米、宽约1.5米，沿山势绵延数公里。[4]

石围城修建于1911年，即清朝宣统三年。2007年全国第三次文物普查时，它被当作新发现的文物点登记；2011年又进入清远市和广东省重大新发现的名录。目前是阳山县县级文物保护单位。[4]

阳山县年鉴记载，2019年镇里扶持了有「广东小桂林」之称的鱼水旅游风景区等景点。[1]
