荣岗村人民对解放事业作出了较大贡献，县人民政府因此授予该村「解放战争游击根据地村」称号。2010年2月，村里获县委、县政府授予「生态文明村」称号。[1][2]

沼气[edit]

村里是江英镇沼气池建设的示范点。沼气普及后，村子摆脱了燃柴烧饭、粪水蚊蝇滋生的旧貌，人畜发病率随之降低。[1][2]
