英阳村位于江英镇西北部，博雅地名网记其人口3752人，全村耕地面积约7758亩。村名来自1965年的一次并社，村内有一棵古杉，列为一级古树。[1]

1965年4月，原属英德县英阳公社的英阳等六个大队并入江口公社，组成江英公社，此后设立英阳大队，村名由此而来。[1][2]

古树[edit]

村内有一棵古杉，属我国一级古树，相传植于明代，树龄约500年，至今仍枝叶苍翠。[1]
