朋塘村是阳山县青莲镇下辖的行政村，位于镇域最北端，与岭背镇交界，南面与寺山村相接，东面与屋村相接。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

2005年4月，原岩背村民委员会经县政府批准并入朋塘村，自此并为一个村民委员会。[1]

经济[edit]

年鉴两处记朋塘西洋菜基地的面积：一处为约0.27平方千米，另一处为扩建后的0.2平方千米示范基地，两处口径未作说明。[2]

年鉴记，朋塘村在2019年作为省定贫困村，符合退出标准，并已完成退出工作。[2]

文化[edit]

2019年9月，朋塘村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单；2023年5月，朋塘、岩村、柳塘3个自然村获「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
