青莲村是阳山县青莲镇下辖的行政村，村名因村委会设在镇中心而来。村委会位于圩镇街道中心，东面与中心村相接，南面与南塘村相接，西面与江佐村相接，北面与深塘村相接。[1]

博雅地名网记，2021年1月，青莲村入选第七批广东省古村落。[1]

2023年5月，菜园寮、新建二两个村小组获「2022年广东省卫生村」称号；2026年1月，青莲村获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
